Competitive Difference

The members of Local #953 have chosen equipment operation as a career, and their experience is the kind that can only be gained by continuous employment in a chosen field. The members work well with other crafts to get the job done right and give you eight hours of work for eight hours of pay. When a contractor calls a dispatcher, an operator is sent out just for the time needed. When they’re done, they return to the hiring hall so a contractor isn’t paying for someone who isn’t work. In addition, the dispatchers are highly trained professionals who make sure the operator sent to a project has the right skills and experience for that job and that they’re highly qualified to complete the job as specified.
